In 2008, Shane Waters created one of the first crime podcasts as a high school freshman in Indianapolis — not for entertainment, but to inform fellow students about unreported campus crimes. That investigative impulse became a career, a six-show media network spanning true crime, dark history, the paranormal, and forgotten American stories, and nearly two decades of storytelling experience. In 2025, he launched Margin Consulting with Sara Byers, applying the same systems-thinking approach to AI strategy and business automation.
